Starting from the popular walking and canalside town of Brecon, home to Pen-y-Fan, this superb one hundred mile circular road cycling route around the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog) offers breathtaking Welsh scenery, hilly ascents, panoramas galore and scenic towns in the quiet county of Powys.

The route passes through the settlements of Lower & Upper Chapel, Llangynog, Builth Wells, Llangammarch Wells, Tirabad, Llandovery, Llangadog, Llandeilo, Trap, Brynamman, Cwmllynfell, Gumos, Trecastle, Sennybridge, Trallong and Cradoc.
