Being nearby to the Brecon Beacons National Park and a short cycle away from the Cambrian Mountains we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to fantastic cycling routes. If looking for recommendations on cycling routes around Llandovery be sure to give our Cambrian Mountain loop to the nearby Llyn Brianne and Devil’s Staircase a try (where it reaches 25% in places!)

Located off the busy A40 just two miles from Llandovery is a popular garden centre & cafe, cyclists are most welcome and you’ll find plenty of room both in their sheltered outdoor space and cosy wood indoors.

Step inside and you’ll find a wide selection of sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, pies, quiches and a soups. A favourite amongst the locals is their Ystrad Ploughmans and for those with a sweet tooth they’ve an excellent value Welsh cream tea too – with a slice of Bara brith, two Welsh cakes and pot of tea.

All cakes are homemade on site and the cafe uses coffee from Coaltown Coffee of nearby Ammanford and meat from local butcher Matthews in Llandovery.
