Located in the valley of Soudley, within the Forest of Dean is a heritage centre aiming to promote & preserve the social and industrial history of the area and it’s people. The on-site cafe serves up all your cafe favourites and offers a fantastic balcony overlooking the picturesque mill and surrounding views.
Early risers will find an affordable breakfast menu including toast & tea cakes, varying breakfast baguettes or eggs on toast. At lunch is their popular Moroccan spiced rice, ploughman’s, mac & cheese or selection of jacket potatoes, paninis and toasties. Additionally savoury scones, sausage rolls & pasties too.
For those with a sweet tooth like us cakes on our summer visit included a decadent raspberry ripple cake, cherry & rhubarb, lemon drizzle, apple crumble, or sticky toffee. Tray-bakes; caramel slice, apricot flapjack, rocky road, blackcurrant & white chocolate flapjack, salted caramel brownie or toffee crunch blondie.
