An eighty five mile circular road cycle ride exploring the countryside, towns and villages surrounding Bristol with even a quick stop to the seaside at Clevedon.
As a circular ride you can start from anywhere on the route, we started from the seaside town of Clevedon in west Somerset. The route then heads to Chew Valley Lake, Saltford, Avon Valley Country Park near Keynsham, Frampton Cotterell, Yate, Thornbury and Avonmouth.
The route was formed in the 80s and is clearly signposted running largely along quiet country lanes, traffic free sections of road and dismantled railway lines including the awesome Bristol and Bath Railway Path which passes the fantastic railway waiting room cafe at Warmley.
