A popular garden centre and cafe situated on the outskirts of Newent, in the small rural hamlet of Highleadon serving up all your brunch and lunch favourites and with space for cycling groups of all sizes (both inside and out).
Breakfast is served 9:00 – 11:30 and includes their popular full breakfast or breakfast baps served with locally sourced bacon, sausages, eggs to their tasty eggs Benedict, eggs Royale or American pancakes!
For lunch you’ll find a wide selection of salads, jacket potatoes, paninis, baguettes, sandwiches and soup of the day. Larger meals include a pie of the day, vegan Cumberland sausages with mash & peas, beer battered cod fillet and varying lasagne.
Sweet treats are made in-house and during our last visit included a caramel heaven traybake, salted caramel & chocolate tart, vegan chocolate brownie, shortbread, Bakewell tart and flapjack. Cakes ranged from carrot, fruit cake, lemon, Victoria sponge and coffee & walnut and for those that love a cream cake like us there was also a tempting coffee eclair on offer too.
On Sunday from midday until 14:30 there’s a delicious Sunday lunch with a choice of beef topside, mushroom & nut roast, roast pork loin, triple-cooked pork belly or roast turkey.
Outside to the rear is a large enclosed seating area with a huge number of tables inside their restaurant, located just to the left inside the garden centre. Out front is dedicated bike racking beside the entrance.
