Situated within Millbrook Garden Centre on the outskirts of Monmouth, a beautiful market town set on the banks of the River Wye, is a fantastic cycle friendly cafe serving up home-cooked breakfasts, lunches and cakes with plenty of seating both inside and out for cycling groups of all sizes.

For those early risers there’s all your usual favourites including a full English/veggie or vegan breakfast, eggs Benedict or Royale (pictured), pancakes with bacon & maple syrup, breakfast baps, porridge and ‘on toast’ in varying formats.

At lunchtime there’s a great choice too; sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, paninis and toasties with a range of fillings, alongside omelettes and daily specials where these last featured salmon fishcakes, quiche, fish finger sandwich and a sweet Belgium waffle with maple syrup. Larger meals include lasagne (also available in veggie and vegan varieties too), sweet potato curry and cottage pie.

Homemade cakes include a Victoria sponge, carrot, coffee or fruit, with tray-bakes and cheesecakes featuring an almond & raspberry frangipan, cherry & almond Bakewell, millionaire shortbread, flapjack or Welsh cakes. If looking for something even sweeter and filling there’s also their very own traditional hot English puddings served with cream, custard or ice cream; jam roly polly, cherry & apple pie, syrup sponge, crumble, bread & butter pudding or chocolate fudge cake and scones with jam & cream too.

The large terraced seating area out front is the perfect sun-trap during the summer months and provides plenty of room for groups to congregate alongside their bikes. Additionally inside there’s plenty of seating too, with a larger function room to the rear.
