Set beside Lake 12 within the Cotswold Water Park, an area of 40 miles containing 180 beautiful lakes, is a delightful cafe built from shipping containers boasting fantastic views from their terraced seating area and serving up great coffee, cakes and savoury snacks.

Cakes come courtesy of S Bakes and the Cotswold Larder, who also run their own superb coffee shop in the nearby picturesque Cotswold village of Broadway. Tasty bakes, with vegan and gluten free options range from an apricot & ginger flapjack, chocolate orange, crunchie or vegan brownies, cranberry & orange tiffin and a lemon & blueberry muffin.

If looking for something more savoury, there’s a selection of freshly made paninis, bagels and toasties; highlights include a beef & horseradish panini, smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel and char-grilled veg & vegan cheese toastie with sweet chilli sauce.

There’s plenty of space for bikes around the former recycled shipping container, with lots of seating both on their outdoor terrace and situated around the lake.
