Based within the honey-lined streets and ‘jewel of the Cotswolds’ village of Broadway is a newly opened cakery and cafe serving up superb cakes, treats, shakes and coffee to hungry walkers, cyclists and tourists alike.

Stepping inside you’re instantly wowed by their fantastic array of cakes, tray-bakes, brownuts, muffins, patisseries, fondants, and cookies, all made by the family-run business who continue to supply many local cafes with their goodies too.

Delights include curly whirly chocolate or creme egg brownies, white chocolate or mini egg brownuts (brownie donuts), brookies (brownie with a cookie base), raspberry blondies, millionaire slices and rich rocky road. As for muffins they’ve ‘muffin cakes’ including a decadent strupe waffle, maple & pecan, carrot and red velvet to name a few.

For those early risers there’s also a small selection of pastries including pan au rasin, pan au chocolat, cinnamon swirls and croissants. Coffee is roasted by the sublime Stow Town Coffee, perhaps one of the smallest micro artisan roasters in the country and situated just ten miles up the road (a lovely cycle).

It’s primarily about the sweet treats here, but you’ll also find a great range of pasties and sausage rolls from the Phat Pasty Company including a spicy chicken & chorizo, keralan cauliuflower, chickpea & onion and traditional Cornish alongside a small selection of paninis and sandwiches including a daily special!

There’s limited seating out front however why not take-away and enjoy your treats with a short pitstop on the nearby Broadway village green outside the Broadway Hotel found at the bottom of the High Street.
