Great coffee!

taste

The kefir & blueberry and custard cream gelato were superb - made from their very own creamy Jersey herd

selection

A vast selection of daily changing gelato flavours, homemade cakes, traybakes and small selection of frehsly made paninis and toasties. During the early part of the week there's a more limited choice of gelato on offer, although you'll always find at least six and definitely worth the visit!

value

Cappuccino (£2.90), Yorkshire tea (£2.00), gelato (single £2.80, double £4.00, triple £5.00), sundaes (£6.00, 2 flavours), American milkshakes (£5.50), panini rolls (£5.25), toasted sandwiches (£4.80)

storage

There's no bike racking however there's plenty of space out front around the outdoor seating and with wall to ceiling glass indoor seating area, it's easy to keep an eye on your prized possession

groups

Plenty of space outdoors for larger groups however indoors is a little more restrictive due to the size of the parlour. Simply wrap up warm and embrace the Derbyshire weather with coffee and gelato :)

A fantastic ice cream parlour serving up delicious creamy gelato made from their own Jersey herd and located in the stunning Peak District National Park. You’ll find a wide range of tasty gelato, homemade cakes, American milkshakes, Belgian waffles and scrummy ice cream sundaes.

Their drinks are also made using the same fresh, creamy Jersey milk produced on-site and if you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of the famous cows and calves whilst stopping by the farm. If looking for something savoury you’ll also find a small selection of freshly made paninis and toasties too, however it’s all about the sweet treats here!

On our visit we sampled the very creamy and devine ‘custard crema’ gelato alongside the kefir and blueberry, both were fantastic and perhaps the best gelato we’ve tasted this side of the English Channel! As for cake recommendations, their own take on a Bakewell cake is an absolute must try and comes complete with lashings of icing and flaked almonds.

Popular with cyclists, the ice cream parlour is extremely cycle-friendly and you’ll find limited seating indoors for those chillier months (there’s always room for ice cream) alongside plenty of seating outside. It’s just a stones throw from the High Peak Trial and nearby to our very own road cycling routes, do check them out below.
