Self serve machine coffee, but you're here for the baked goods!

The chocolate doughnut and chelsea bun was delicious! Will need several visits to work through their selection :)

Awesome selection of cakes, pastries, patteseries, sandwiches, rolls and cold drinks

Superb value for money, a cappuccino, chocolate filled doughnut and Chelsea bun was £3.60!

Plenty of outdoor seating and wall space in their beautiful garden overlooking the surrounding Gloucestershire countryside

There's a large amount of outdoor seating making it ideal for larger groups, no indoor seating (just bread ovens and lots of delicious treats)

13 miles from both Cheltenham and the Malverns, 17 miles from Ross-on-Wye and 9 miles from the market town of Ledbury. Although the A417 is busy there's plenty of quiet country roads nearby, the road to Dymock is a delight

Who doesn’t love the smell of freshly baked bread?! Just off the busy A417 in the village of Corse, Gloucestershire is a hidden gem – here at St George’s Bakery you’ll find sandwiches, cakes and patisseries made throughout the day at their busy bakery.

As for sweet treats there’s simply too many to mention, however to name a few; danish pastries (including Chelsea buns, pain au rasin), filled doughnuts (the chocolate is great!), flapjacks, hot cross buns, tray bakes (including rocky road and aero), croissants, cream cakes and shortbread (their millionaire shortbread is delicious). For more inspiration do check-out our pictures below.

As for savoury food you’ll find a large range of breads, freshly prepared sandwiches and a large selection of cold drinks. There’s also an on-site coffee machine, simply make your selection and take it to the till.

With plenty of outdoor seating you can admire the glorious views of the surrounding Gloucestershire countryside and their very own lake.

The bakery is extremely reasonable on the wallet and the staff couldn’t be more friendly! Perhaps Gloucestershire’s finest bakery and somewhere not to be missed.
