Overlooking Gloucester Docks is a small but very successful cafe (est. 2011) serving up varying as the name suggests, ‘on toast’ delights alongside freshly ground coffee too.

As you’d imagine the concept is simple however there’s a superb selection of sweet and savoury flavours to chose from. Gourmet options include hunters chicken, Swedish meatballs, BBQ pulled pork & cheese, sweet chilli chicken, creamy chicken tikka and spicy Mexican. Additionally there’s Hawaiian (ham & pineapple), Chicago (pepperoni), Italian (mozzarella, basil & tomato), Canadian (brie & cranberry), Welsh (leeks, cheese & splash of Tabasco) and Greek (spinach, feta & olive) too. Traditional flavours of ham & cheese, onion, tomato, bacon and beans are also available to mix and match.

For those with a sweet tooth you can have a Mars, Snickers, or Mars with banana toasted up too, yummy!

It’s takeaway only but there’s plenty of seating outside along the dock front, service is efficient and there’s plenty of room for those bikes too.
