Nestled beneath Goodrich Castle and beside the River Wye within the Wye Valley is a cycling favourite, serving up delicious brunches, lunches, light bites, cakes and freshly ground coffee.
All food is homemade and using locally sourced produce! You’ll find everything from wild boar or vegan sausage rolls, stilton & walnut scones, fresh sandwiches, avocado smash, salmon bagels, a variety of quiches and bacon baps.
If looking for something sweet there’s a large selection of cakes and traybakes available including their famous custard cream blondies (as pictured), banana, chocolate and coconut muffins and lemon & elderflower cake.
Hen & Dot is an ideal cycle stop for larger cycling groups with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, complete with a sheltered terrace and garden overlooking the River Wye. Do note that currently advanced bookings cannot be taken.
Note: Hen & Dot is open Friday – Sunday, 10:00 – 16:00, however they are occasionally closed for private events, therefore please do check their website or social media before pedalling over!
