As the name suggests it’s situated on the edge of Ullswater and at the foot of Helvellyn in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Glenridding is a charming little village and a walkers paradise, taking the spectacular climb to the summit.
You’ll find a varied menu offering all the usual fair, from toast to wraps and a large selection of homemade cakes on display – I can highly recommend the mint aero biscuit cake.
