The ham & cheese melted bap alongside cupcake was just what we needed on a lovely summer cycle around north Snowdonia

selection

At breakfast you’ll find their popular bacon bap & tea meal deal, alongside a full English, toast of all varieties, omelettes, crumpets and teacakes. Lunchtime options range from toasties, quiche, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and larger big plate meals. As for cake you’ll find locally made Welsh cakes and Bara Brith (a Welsh tea flavoured fruit cake - a favourite of ours!) alongside a decadent chocolate fudge cake, berry tiffin and cycle friendly honey flapjack

storage

There’s no immediately nearby cycle racking, but we’ve always found enough room around our seating when in their undercover terraced area out front

groups

With limited seating inside, the outdoor undercover marquee out front offers enough space for medium sized groups if avoiding the busier weekend lunchtime

location

We’re just 15 miles north of the spectacular Snowdonia National Park, a cyclists paradise - do try one of our routes including the popular Brailsford Way 70 miler. Alternatively head south 4 miles to the walled market town of Conwy, famed for it’s castle

A superb value (where else can you still find tea for £1?) family run cafe known locally for their superb cakes, located in the popular seaside town and tourist destination of Llandudno, in the shadows of Great Orme and under an hours cycle from the Snowdonia National Park.

For those early risers you’ll find all the usual breakfast fair including their excellent value bacon bap & mug of tea deal for £4.50, alongside their full English, toast of all varieties, omelettes, crumpets and teacakes.

At lunchtime there’s great selection of equally affordable savoury light bites including jacket potatoes, sandwiches, toasties and quiches alongside larger meals – their famed homemade pie, lasagne and chill to name a few.

For cake there’s an awesome selection right from locally sourced Welsh cakes and homemade Bara Brith, a Welsh tea flavoured fruit cake to berry tiffin, honey flapjack, chocolate fudge or lemon drizzle cake.

With their recent addition of their extended outdoor and undercover seating area out front, it’s the ideal pitstop for cycling groups visiting the north coastal town and heading on round the coastal road to Conwy or heading inland south to the Snowdonia National Park.
