Enjoy a coffee and cake or breakfast bap overlooking Cotswold Airport’s runway, with plenty of space for groups both in summer or winter and a sun terrace, it’s the perfect south Cotswold pitstop. The airfield is just four miles south of Cirencester, known as the capital of the Cotswolds with it’s quaint honey lined streets and majestic grade 1 listed park.
Early risers will find breakfast served until 11:30 including a full English, vegan or veggie, eggs on toast, breakfast baps, affordable cereal (when did you last see cereal on the menu?) and plenty of kids choices too.
At lunch there’s all your favourites including paninis, burgers, ciabattas, pizzas, sandwiches, jacket potatoes (pictured), loaded chips (pictured) and again as with their breakfasts, plenty of ‘little pilot’ options too.
Cakes on our autumnal visit were a choice of iced cinnamon swirls or pain au chocolat, sticky toffee cake, lemon drizzle, millionaire shortbread, banana, chocolate & caramel cake, chocolate brownies or loaded flapjacks.
Space is superb with seating for around a hundred inside and the same again out, advanced bookings are available and most welcome.
If you’re lucky you might even be able to bag one of their aircraft seat dining tables (pictured)!
