Tucked away within the Wye Valley and Herefordshire countryside nearby to Ross-on-Wye and scenic Symonds Yat is a popular cafe, deli and village shop boasting a superb garden terrace, homemade cakes and fantastic seasonal food.
Breakfast is served until noon and ranges from their ‘full Woody’ English breakfast (with small and veggie options too) to Cornish kippers, wild mushrooms, pancakes, ‘on toast’ options, breakfast baps and porridge.
As for lunch you’ll find their delicious deli style sandwiches including a spicy Mediterranean (chorizo, camembert & jalapeños), parma ham & brie and avocado & crab. Additionally there’s a range of jacket potatoes, loaded potato skins, nachos, savoury tart of the day and homemade soup too.
In the sheltered rear garden which can be accessed by bike from the side, there’s a large number of tables and newly installed boutique undercover pods for those wet rides! Inside too you’ll find plenty of seating upstairs, although larger groups will want to book ahead.
