HQ for Ue Coffee Roasters, here you’ll find a hip, quirky cafe and kitchen with murals on the walls and plenty of theatre to entertain whilst you sip a delicious coffee, with their busy coffee production roastery clearly on display for all to see.
Besides serving up their excellent, flavoursome coffee, inside you’ll find a juice bar, all-day brunch and lunch menu, a great range of tasty cakes and tray-bakes and a large undercover outdoor terraced area which seats up to 70 hungry cyclists.
All day brunch includes a delicious Kelmscott pork pattie – a warm English muffin, pork Pattie, mushroom, bacon, poached egg and mustard, Estewed plum porridge, the staple bacon buttie, fig & ginger granola (v), avocado on sourdough (v) and poached Cacklebean eggs (v). At lunchtime there’s a tasty range of focaccia, sandwiches and toasties including a smoked salmon, chive and cream cheese bagel and very cheesy toasty!
For those looking for something sweet we’d recommend giving either their famous toasted banana bread or honeycomb crumpets a try. In addition there’s a wide selection of cakes with our favourites being the superb giddy figgy slice, chocolate orange or peanut butter brownies and winter spiced fruit loaf!
During our last visit as pictured, we had a fantastic roasted veg & pesto focaccia, a side of their sweet and delicious honeycomb butter crumpets and a very smooth cappuccino – delicious!
At the weekends you’ll find Neapolitan style wood-fired pizzas and live music on a Saturday evening. There is no shortage of theatre as we’re located on the floor of our very busy production roastery, which operates Monday through to Friday. Come and discover why we are the most talked about speciality coffee hot spot in Oxfordshire.
