If venturing near to the famous and breathtaking Malham Cove, either on foot or two wheels, we highly recommend heading out of the hectic village and taking a short 5 mile detour south to Tower End Farm Shop where you’ll find a fabulous outdoor sun terrace with panoramic views across to Malham Cove and beyond.
There’s excellent on-site bike racking, complete with cycle pump and plenty of space both indoors and out for larger groups. What’s more there’s a tasty savoury menu with both breakfast and lunch options, in addition to a great selection of homemade cakes and tray-bakes.
You’ll find all the usual cycling staples here; with delicious flapjacks, rocky road slices, a full English and toasted teacakes aplenty.
Malham Cove is a gigantic and spectacular curving amphitheatre shaped cliff formation made of limestone rock with a vertical face of 260ft. Although extremely busing during the summer months, we’d highly recommend if you have time walking the popular Malham Cove via Gordale Scar and Janet’s Foss circular walk.
