A delightful, artisan bakery and cafe located in the medieval market town of Winchcombe, famed for its timber lined streets, beautiful walks (being a walking town) and Sudeley Castle.
Inside you’ll find their famed sourdough bread and scones, baked each day on the premises and during the winter months an extremely welcoming roaring fire to warm those toes.
Breakfast is served until midday and features free range scrambled eggs on sourdough, bacon sandwich in sourdough/bap or the cyclists staple, toast, butter & jam.
For lunch (served until 2pm) there’s a variety of toasted sourdough including a delicious roast pepper, artichoke heart, garlic & humous (as tasted and pictured) or warm goats cheese with walnuts & honey, plus many more! To compliment, there’s also homemade soup and smoked mackerel pate. You may even be lucky to find their very popular cheese & onion puff pastry rolls!
If looking for something sweet, cakes include an orange, pistachio & chocolate cake (gluten free), ginger cake, coffee & walnut cake and rocky road. As for scones you’ll find homemade cheese & bacon, cheese, fruit and plain, all served with either clotted cream or butter.
There’s plenty of space inside for small to medium cycling groups and out back there’s a large sheltered seating area with further seating.
