Hidden away on Church Street near to the cathedral of Hereford is a cosy family-run deli and cafe serving up deliciously fresh lunches, cakes and coffee from local suppliers.
Lunch includes a fabulous selection of freshly made sandwiches and toasties including their ‘reuben’ with pastrami, sauerkraut, gherkin, emmental cheese and mustard-mayo alongside ‘the vegan’ and ‘the Hereford’ with Herefordshire Hop cheese and ham. There’s also a selection of quiches, salads, sausage rolls (served with local chutney) and Herefordshire scotch eggs.
As for cake you’ll find a courgette, lime & pistachio (pictured), carrot & walnut, Belgian chocolate tiffin, white chocolate & raspberry flapjack, Biscoff vegan brownie and almond croissant. Coffee is from Kontext Coffee roasters in the nearby Welsh riverside town of Monmouth.
