After a brilliant brunch? A recently opened, family-run cafe and environmentally friendly village shop sits proudly within the quiet village of Wyre Piddle, just a two mile cycle north of the Georgian market town of Pershore.
With an all-day brunch menu served Thursday to Monday (coffee & cake served Tuesday and Wednesday), featured alongside your staples there’s lots to tickle those tastebuds, using seasonal and locally sourced produce, accompanied with excellent coffee.
Firm brunch favourites of ours include the sweetcorn & beetroot fritters served with poached eggs & dill. The potato & chorizo hash and peach, prosciutto & mozzarella bruschetta with mint & honey dressing and pulled pork slider served on a brioche bun with crispy onions & Asian slaw are also highly recommended!
For those looking for something sweet there’s a small selection of daily baked homemade cakes set on the counter, during our last visit included a carrot cake, Victoria sponge and gluten-free brownies.
Inside the cafe has been meticulously decorated and feels very cosy, you’ll find a good number of tables for small to medium sized groups. Bookings are advised and can be done via their website.
Out back is a large, sheltered terrace offering fabulous views across the River Avon. Sadly out front there’s little room for bikes and no bike racking (although the owners are looking into this), however when not so busy you’re welcome to take your bikes through the cafe into the rear garden.
