At the Hop Pocket shopping village, aside from finding a vast array of independent shops you’ll find a busy cafe serving up home-cooked food, cakes and coffee, a popular pitstop for cycling clubs exploring the rural Herefordshire countryside.
Both inside and out there’s plenty of room for larger cycling groups, with a superb undercover outdoor terraced area and plenty of room for bikes too.
Savoury dishes include freshly prepared toasties, sandwiches, quiches (there’s a fab brie & cranberry) and soups alongside big plate lunch meals suchb cottage pie, vegan chilli and lasagne.
On the counter you’ll find around 10 tasty homemade cakes to deliberate on including their carrot, coffee or Victoria sponge cakes, gluten-free flapjacks, rocky road bites and almond traybakes.
All food is reasonably priced and service is swift, once refuelled why not head over the the Malvern Hills or tackle the hilly climbs around Woolhope, Mordiford and Marcle Ridge.
