The eggs on toast, cappuccino & carrot cake were the perfect accompaniment for our chilly autumnal ride

selection

A large sandwich filling selection served alongside all-day breakfast dishes, 'on toast' options, jacket potatoes and savoury bites

Good value! storage

There's no nearby racking, therefore keep it within sight of the cafe or you'll find racking down the road in the public carpark

groups

Small inside due to it's historic nature, the cafe is ideally suited for smaller groups or individuals

location

Picturesque Presteigne is a thriving market town on the banks of the River Lugg with quiet roads aplenty surrounding us. Once refuelled why not head north into the Shropshire Hills ANOB or alternatively south-east towards the riverside cathedral city of Hereford?

For over 20 years owner Elda has been running this popular coffee house in the The Coffee House in pretty market town Presteigne set on the banks of the River Lugg. Inside you’ll find all your cafe favourites served alongside their famous Colombian coffee which is imported directly from a family farm in the Santander region of Colombia.

On the menu is a huge sandwich selection – so much so it has it’s own menu, alongside all-day breakfast bites & dishes, jacket potatoes, varying ‘on toast’ options and a choice of burgers. There’s a small cake selection on the counter with carrot cake being our Sunday choice on our last visit alongside a warm banana split and toasted teacake.
