Within St Peters Garden Centre on the outskirts of Worcester is a popular garden cafe and restaurant serving up all your cafe favourites with plenty of space inside and out in their sheltered, sun-trapped terraced seating area or chic yurt.
There’s both a formal restaurant and their grab-and-go coffee house (Poppy’s cafe) located out back. The coffee is roasted by Yallah Coffee Roasters in Falmouth.
Poppy’s Cafe
Outdoors you’ll find their fabulous garden cafe with quick service and excellent undercover seating overlooking their lake and farm animals. Additionally there’s a fantastic yurt for those cooler months complete with log burner and cosy seating.
On the menu you’ll find hot baps, sandwiches, hot sausage rolls, cream teas, soup and a range of sweet treats or ice cream.
The Potting Shed Restaurant
Inside the restaurant, sweet treats & cakes on our last visit included; red velvet, mango & passionfruit cheesecake, toffee sponge, apple & blackberry, coconut & lime, cherry & almond, Bakewell slice, apple & sultana, Victoria sponge, coffee & walnut and a decadent triple iced chocolate. Also there’s plain, fruit & cheese scones, croissants, apple Danishes or cinnamon swirls.
For lunch there’s a large choice of wraps (a harissa spiced shredded lamb, humous & mint, chargrilled veg, goats cheese & pesto, katsu chicken), sandwiches (coronation chicken, ham & tomato, prawn & crayfish with Mary rose sauce), baked potatoes, soup and larger plated meals including fish & chips, double smashed burgers and their signature pie. Sunday lunches are available too.
