Located behind the Old Bush at Callow End is a hidden gem for groups of all sizes, found just a short peddle away between the Worcestershire towns of Upton upon Severn and Great Malvern. The popular village deli, cafe and shop use local produce where possible and offer superb sweet treats alongside an affordable breakfast and lunch menu.
A big attraction here is the large array of outdoor, terraced and indoor seating making it ideal for walking and cycling groups of all sizes. There’s even a children’s play area and small bird display. Coffee comes courtesy of Coffee Masters in the nearby spa and salt town of Droitwich.
On our summer visit their sweet snacks included Biscoff, coffee & walnut, blackcurrant & almond or lemon drizzle alongside blondies, brownies, millionaire shortbread and flapjacks too. We’d highly recommend the custard cream blondie or a slice of their blackcurrant & almond cake.
Early risers will find their ‘full Monty’ breakfast plate, alongside a choice of ‘on toast’ options, breakfast rolls & sandwiches, toast and croissants. For lunch there’s a choice of toasties, paninis and pizzas. Savoury snack wise there’s sausage rolls, pasties, savoury croissants, Scotch eggs and tarts too.
