On our sunny visit we couldn't resist the raspberry sorbet from Winstones Ice Cream, their bagels our a savoury choice

There's no dedicated bike racking but the owner is very accommodating and there's plenty of space to rack your bike against the cafe's railings

Their sun-trapped terraced seating area has a large number of tables making it ideal for larger sized groups, advanced notification is most welcome and appreciated if travelling in numbers

Set right beside the River Avon, overlooking the Malvern Hills, here's an ideal starting point for cycling around nearby Bredon Hill onto the Vale of Evesham or heading west towards the Malvern Hills, Herefordshire and beyond
