Within an ominous industrial estate nearby to Cheltenham train station you’ll find a superb coffee roaster and cafe within a hip, modern and spacious warehouse unit serving up spectacular speciality coffee alongside brilliant brunches (served Wednesday to Sunday).
Roasted on a 1980’s Samiac drum roaster named Sammy if you love great coffee you’ve come to the right place! They brew on a custom La Marzocco Strada for espresso and offer hand brews, including Aeropress and V60 too. The Gakuyuini roast with hints of blackberry, fruit pastilles & lime was superb.
On the menu you’ll find a refreshing array of brunch options including a confit portobello mushroom flatbread, zhoug fried egg cornbread with grilled jalapeño, cheese & dill (pictured) and open steak sandwich with chimichurri & hash brown bites. Very reasonably priced options also include their granola bowl (VG / GF) and range of sourdough ‘on toast’ options (pictured with poached cacklebean eggs).
For those with a sweet tooth you’ll find their moreish brioche French toast with orange zest & pistachio, banana bread and a fantastic selection of pastries and cakes. We regularly visit here and a selection from some of our visits have included apricot & pistachio frangipane, carrot cake (vegan), sticky ginger loaf, chocolate brownie, lemon drizzle and raspberry cheesecake blondie.
The Brew Bar is open all week from 9:00 – 16:00 and the kitchen serves up all day brunches Wednesday to Sunday between 9:00 and 15:30.
