Found in the Cotswold village known as the ‘jewel of the Cotswolds’ is this recently opened patisserie, artisan sourdough bakery and hip coffee shop serving hungry tourists or cyclists alike. You’ll find a superb selection of freshly baked patisseries, viennoiserie (pastries), cakes, eclairs, buns, sausage rolls and sandwiches.
Sweet treats (all baked by Will the French pastry chef and bakery owner) included a orange polenta cake, lemon drizzle, valrhona chocolate tart, rhubarb cheesecake cruffins, brownies or Danish pastries. A notable mention must also go out to their popular cinnamon buns.
For those looking for something savoury there’s apricot & harissa sausage roll, ham & cheese croissants and their decadent pides (pee-dah), a Turkish flatbread available as goats cheese & sun-dried tomato or nduja, ham & cheese.
