A favourite cafe stop for cyclists in Gloucestershire, set at the foot of Bredon Hill a popular twenty mile cycle route, in the picturesque village of Kemerton. This friendly coffee house is the perfect pitstop when cycling around the quiet circular cycling loop surrounding the hill.
Specialising in amazing toasties, there’s a flavour for everyone – we loved the Piggy Sue (pulled ham hock, three cheese, chives) and also the fly half (pulled chicken, smoked bacon, tomato ragu, mozzarella). Additonallly early risers will find their all-day ciabatta breakfast rolls which include; bacon, sausage, herby mushroom & emmenthal with meat from Meadows Farm.
In addition to their sandwiches and savoury bites you’ll find great coffee from Bristol based roaster Martin Carwardine & Co, locally made cakes, warm pastries and a friendly welcome whatever the weather.
Once refuelled be sure to cycle on around the hill passing through the beautiful villages of Overbury, Beckford, Ashton-under-HIll, Elmley Castle, Great Comberton, the Georgian town of Pershore (home of the terrific Koffee and Cake), Eckington and Bredon.
