A fabulous new modern cafe located in the heart of mid-Wales offering plenty of space for cycling groups of all sizes and serving up brunches and lunches using locally sourced produce alongside homemade cakes and great coffee.
Early risers will find their fresh veggie, vegan or English breakfasts which includes Prized Pig sausage (from nearby Abermule), cured bacon, black pudding & Hamers free range egg (again Abermule), alongside their famous breakfast brioche stack served in a brioche bun (from Andy’s Bread) loaded with potato rosti, free range egg, bacon & sausage. Additionally there’s your usual staples including eggs Benedict (pictured) or Royale, avocado on toast, Welsh rarebit and their fluffy savoury or sweet American pancakes.
At lunch there’s a light and refreshing beetroot & goats cheese salad or soup of the day (parsnip & roasted onion) alongside loaded hot dogs with Welsh BBQ sauce, garlic mushrooms, fishcakes, 8oz beef burger and ploughman’s platter.
For those looking for something sweet, cakes and tray-bakes feature a Lotus Biscoff sponge (VG), Tunisian orange (GF), raspberry Bakewell flapjack, peanut butter & chocolate cookie or an ‘old school’ iced sponge! There’s also freshly baked scones too.
Outside the modern building is a large terrace with fantastic views and plenty of seating for larger groups, inside too is similar with a meticulously decorated and refreshing interior and lots of tables.
