coffee

If you've not tried a Greek coffee before, give it a try here! Boiled rather than brewed, there's foam on the top and the grounds at the bottom of the cup. It's a strong taste but ideal for those winter cycles when you need that caffeine fix

taste

The Greek Coffee is fantastic! I can also highly recommend the savoury pasties and sweet Bougesta custard pie - it was delicious! Their Mousaka pie and Baklavas are also talk of the town

selection

A wide selection of authentic homemade Greek savoury lunch bites and cakes including feta, potato pie or four cheese pasties (pictured), Bougesta custard pie (delicious and pictured), their famous Mousaka pie, a range of toasties & brioche savouries and of course Greek sweet treats, including Baklavas, Kadaifi & cheesecakes

value

Cappuccino (£2.60), Greek coffee (£2.50), tea (£2.10), pasties (feta / potato pie / chicken / four cheese, from £2.50), pastries (Pain au chocolat / croissant, £1.50), Bougesta custard pie (£3.50), Mousaka pie (£5.00), toasties / brioche (£3.50), Greek sweet treats (Baklavas / Kadaifi / Ekmek Kadaifi / cheesecake, from £2.00)

storage

The nearest bike racking is in the Asda / public car park opposite, you'll find them beside the toilet block less than a minute walk away on the right

groups

There's seating for around 20 inside, however weekends do get busy with locals after their Greek fix :). Alternatively takeaway and head straight ahead along the road opposite signposted car park. Beside Pershore Leisure Centre you'll find plenty of seating nearby to the River Avon. Alternatively head right along the High Street and then right again to Pershore Abbey and the scenic parkland beside it

location

Pershore is a perfect pitstop for cycling around the quiet circular route around Bredon Hill or midway between Worcester and the Vale of Evesham, Cotswolds and beyond

New for 2022 and perhaps a first for Worcestershire is this fantastic Greek cafe and coffee shop (run by a real Greek!) offering a wide selection of authentic homemade Greek savoury lunch bites, coffee and cakes. The traditional Greek coffee is a must try if you’re after a strong caffeine fix on those longer rides!

Savoury treats include varying pasties (feta, potato, chicken or four cheese) and their famous Mousaka pie, alongside a range of brioche and toasties. Be sure to checkout social media for their daily specials which when we visited featured stuffed cabbage rolls in a lemon sauce, spinach feta and ricotta pie and a range of fresh salads.

Looking for something sweet? Delights include the Greek staples of Baklavas, Kadaifi & cheesecakes in addition to a superbly sweet Bougesta custard pie pastry (pictured). You’ll also find more traditional croissants (Pain au chocolat, butter) and cakes too.
