Deliciously smooth and flavoursome coffee

taste

The homemade cakes and pastries are devine, with their sticky coffee cake being a must try. So too is the cubano and grilled cheese toastie and their homemade crown prince and harissa croissant!

selection

Their deli and cafe has a vast selection of sweet and savoury goods to chose from, all sourced locally where possible. Cakes, tray-bakes, croissants, wraps, sandwiches, toasties, focaccia, fresh salads, juices, soup, scotch egg - it's all here

value

Cappuccino (£2.80), tea (£2.50), sausage sandwich (£7), sandwiches/toasties (from £6.50), focaccia and humus (£7.50), toast and jam (£2.75), granola (£5), flatbread - roast pepper or brisket (£9), scotch egg (£5), soup and focaccia (£5.50)

storage

There's limited outdoor seating where bikes can be placed nearby, alternatively there's racking near to Waitrose, a few minutes walk

groups

Lots of in and outdoor seating, however weekends do get busy. For larger groups ring ahead to book a table

location

Situated at the foot of the Malverns - Worcestershire Beacon, there's great scenic (if hilly) routes you can take from here. We'd recommend heading over the Wyche cutting towards Colwall and the quiet winding roads of Herefordshire, including Woolhope

A favourite amongst both locals and tourists alike in Great Malvern, after opening their doors just two years ago Faun have expanded into new premises and you’ll now find their great cafe, deli, bakery and bar located in the former Brays department store at the top of town on Worcester Road.

As you’d expect for an artisan cafe, deli and coffee shop you’ll find lots of delicious, locally sourced treats and meals all served up in their smart, meticulously decorated interior. What’s more they’ve just begun baking their very own bread and pastries!

There’s a smart outdoor terrace complete with overhead cover for days where the weather is kind, ideal for a quick pitstop with cycling groups exploring the Malvern Hills.

As for our favourites, a smooth cappuccino along with either their coffee and walnut or berry cake slice is hard to beat, so too are their very own almond or crown prince and harissa croissants! The daily focaccia special and grilled cheese toasties are excellent too (see pictures).

For those looking for savoury, you’ll find their famous cubano and grilled cheese toasties along with their delicious Faun fry ups, eggy bread, savoury tarts, fresh salads (the beetroot is delicious), soups, and sausage sandwiches!
