New for July 2025, situated along the busy A44 between Worcester and Pershore in the village of Egdon is this spacious, family-run cafe serving up superb coffee (Quarter House Roasters in Birmingham), cafe favourites and creative cakes.
Cakes on our summer visit included sticky toffee with Biscoff spread, double choc fudge cake, maple flapjack, coffee & candied pecan loaf, raspberry Bakewell, billionaire shortbread, queen vic sponge or lemon drizzle.
On the menu are a choice of toasties, paninis, sandwiches, savoury snacks and weekly specials; do try the reuben twist – beef pastrami, Swiss cheese with caramelised onion chutney or Club 44 BLT with mozzarella.
Inside and out is a huge array of seating making it ideal for larger groups. There’s an enclosed rear seating area with plenty undercover, this in addition to the large rooms meticulously decorated inside the former pub .
