A delightful coffee house located in the small village of Carbost on the banks of Loch Harport and across the road from the Talisker Distillery.
Serving excellent coffee from Artisan Roast Coffee Roasters and tea from Eteaket both based in Edinburgh, where inside you’ll find a great selection of homemade cakes and traybakes alongside daily savoury specials too (when we visited there was a delicious ham, mustard and cheese toasty).
There’s no seating indoors although there’s a number of benches directly outside, along with seating beside the beautiful Loch Harport.
The company has a strong focus on ethical trading, sourcing local produce and the environmental impact Skye faces. Inside you’ll find lots of quirky and thought provoking illustrations inside of their modern and chic interior.
The cafe is just a short detour from the busy tourist attraction of the Fairy Glen, well worth a visit if you’ve time whilst visiting the Isle of Skye.
