New for 2024 is the popular brunch club at The Star Inn in the Georgian riverside town of Pershore. Boasting scenic, sheltered seating beside the river alongside a large number of tables inside too it’s ideal for groups of all sizes.
Early risers will find a large English or veggie breakfast, brunch burger (sausage, bacon & hash brown), Turkish eggs, avocado on toast, halloumi loaded eggs, posh beans on toast and ciabatta breakfast baps. Did we mention their Benny bar too – a large choice of handsome hash browns including bacon, poached eggs & hollandaise sauce.
Brunch is just as tempting with caprese ciabatta, garlic mushrooms, BLT, cheesesteak sandwich, fish butty, burgers and much more.
The cakes are all homemade and coffee is roasted from a favourite of ours, Iron & Fire of Shropshire. Sweet treats include maple bacon French toast, peanutter bowl (granola, peanut butter, banana, flaked chocolate & berries) alongside a selection of homemade bakes.
The staff were largely (with one exception) very friendly and the riverside location is a great way to soak up the sunshine.
