A popular coffee house and cafe located within Newport High Street serving up home-cooked food & snacks, great coffee and homemade bakes. Additionally inside the small but bustling cafe they stock a variety of locally sourced produce in the ‘farm shop’.
On the menu you’ll find a large selection of open toasted sourdough sandwiches including avocado & poached eggs with either chorizo, pancetta, spinach or halloumi, hummus, garlic mushrooms to name a few. There’s also croque monsieur, croque madame (with fried egg) and tuna melts alongside a large salad bar with fresh favourites and daily soup specials.
Early risers will find a selection of morning pastries; maple & pecan plait, almond or plain croissant and for those with a sweet tooth as the name suggests, you’ve come to the right place! Their warm American pancakes are superb as is their range of homemade cakes… brownies and blondies include Rolo, rocky road, triple chocolate, Cadbury fruit & nut (pictured), cherry Bakewell (pictured), Biscoff cookie, sea salt millionaire or maple pecan. We had a huge slice of their moist carrot cake too (pictured).
