Farm cafe in woodland setting on the outskirts of Worcester with balcony seating overlooking scenic pond and the Malvern Hills. Outside is plenty of seating for groups alongside many more in the light and airy glass interior, food is locally sourced where possible too. The meat is from Madresfield Estate five miles down the road and the eggs just two from Stockend Farm in Powick.
Aside from their all-day breakfasts early risers (until midday) will also find buttermilk pancakes, ‘on toast’ options, hot breakfast baps and morning pastries which include loaded croissants.
As for lunch there’s a large choice which range from hot baps (fish finger or bacon sourced from just down the road), jacket potatoes, ploughman’s platter, ‘on toast’, Belguim waffles, paninis, toasties or stone baked pizzas.
Cakes on our winter visit included a spiced fruit loaf, themed biscuits & gingerbread, lemon or coffee & walnut cake, fruit scones and double chocolate cookies.
