From it’s inception in 2016 it’s been a hit with the locals ever since seeking out their caffeine fix, serving up a superb all-day brunch menu, fantastic coffee (and tea) and delicious cakes all set within a hip, modern interior and boasting a large enclosed rear terrace!

The fantastically smooth coffee is sourced from Odd Kin Coffee Roasters and the tea is hand blended and from Bird & Blend Tea Co. If opting for decaf too as we did on our last visit you’ll struggle to taste the difference, a refreshing change from what can often be a disappointing choice at some coffee houses.

For lovers of brilliants brunches you’ve come to the right place… Their famously loaded crumpets include an eggy dipped with halloumi & chilli jam or fried chicken with crispy bacon & egg. All your sourdough ‘on toast’ options are here too as is porridge, overnight oats, a full English, halloumi or avocado fry-up, Turkish eggs, salads and brioche burgers.

The brunch baps are a firm favourite for hungry cyclists and shoppers alike with a sausage & fennel, veggie hash brown, chicken or BBQ pulled pork option to choose from. Did we mention their famous ‘smashed browns’ too? Two (of four) hash browns loaded with your favourite toppings!

Those with a sweet tooth will find their American pancakes (crispy bacon & maple syrup), alongside a range of cakes and tray-bakes. Delights on our last visit included espresso blondies, cinnamon muffins, millionaire shortbread, carrot cake, salted caramel cripsy and cookies, early risers will find a selection of pastries too.

Accessed by the side alleyway is a large, sheltered courtyard seating area out back, perfect for cycling groups of all sizes with plenty of space for your bikes. Inside for those chillier months there’s a large number of tables too. Do note weekends do get rather busy.
