A bustling tea room in the Worcestershire village of Upton Snodsbury known for their delicious cakes and great selection of savoury breakfast and lunch options, a favourite amongst cyclists especially on Sunday mornings.
There’s plenty of seating both in and out for groups of all sizes. Find space in their enclosed rear garden complete with sheltered pods or terraced area out front beside the bike racking & car park.
With their homemade cakes changing by the day you’re always sure of something different, our favourites include the espresso martini and cyclist staple, coffee and walnut. The dedicated cake menu on our summer visit included; lemon drizzle, caramel & Biscoff, sticky toffee cookie dough, chocolate fudge, rocky road, Kinder Bueno cheesecake and chocolate & cherry torte.
If looking for something savoury you’ll find a large breakfast menu served until 14:00 with everything from their own ‘twisted spoon’ breakfast to American pancakes, granola and cyclists favourite, toasted tea cake. Lunch options include a variety of paninis, baguettes and jacket potatoes, along with quiche, Spanish hash, egg-in-the-hole and hot smoked kippers.
The coffee is from a favourite of ours, Iron & Fire of Shropshire.
Note: You’ll find the Twisted Spoon located inside the Oak pub at Upton Snodsbury, where they also serve food throughout the day – including a great Sunday roast!
