Situated just three miles east from the riverside market town of Evesham in the village of Blackminster is a popular cafe offering up freshly made breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes and afternoon tea.
For those early riders with a big appetite there’s a large ‘Blackminster’ or veggie breakfast, alongside poached egg & farmhouse ham on toast, smoked salmon and their generously filled butties served in fresh brioche baps.
Lunch includes a range of paninis (the pulled pork & stilton is fab), jacket potatoes, sandwiches, quiches, pizzas, soups, burgers and ‘proper’ pies.
If looking for something sweet there’s a great range of homemade tray-bakes, cakes, pastries and scones. Just some of the choices on offer included an apricot & ginger flapjack, mint Aero or Terry’s chocolate orange brownie, millionaire shortbread, Milkybar blondie and white chocolate & raspberry tart (pictured and homemade).
Both inside and out there’s plenty of seating for cycling groups of all sizes and larger groups are most welcome to book ahead should they wish to sit inside during those cooler months.
