Located in the centre of the beautiful Cotswold village of Notgrove is a popular cafe for cycling groups of all sizes, serving up delicious home cooked breakfasts, lunches, daily specials, cakes and coffee.
Savoury specials change with the season where on our last the menu included an asparagus theme with poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce & toasted muffin, asparagus & orzo pasta salad or ham hock & asparagus terrine. Additionally you’ll find a range of sandwiches and light bites including a ‘hot wok of the day’, ploughman’s, and beetroot & goats curd salad.
For those early riders you’ll find a full English breakfast, eggs Royale, avocado on toast, bacon roll and buttered toast with jam.
As for those with a sweet tooth displayed on the counter you’ll find their homemade cakes including an indulgent chocolate chunk cake, lemon drizzle, Bakewell tart and selection of muffins to name a few. Popular with cyclists are their gourmet flapjacks!
With a huge number of tables both inside and out it’s ideal for cycling groups of all sizes as you can see by our photos, on a Sunday morning you can be sure of good company, coffee and cake. Advanced bookings are most welcome and encouraged for larger cycling clubs.
For those not on two wheels it’s worth noting there’s also popup dining events hosted on a Friday & Saturday evening, do visit their Facebook page for the latest info.
