Set within the majestic grounds of the Elizabethan Harvington Hall complete with moat, is a popular cafe found in the timber clad, former malt house. Aside from artisan coffee is a range of sandwiches, light bites and homemade sweet treats to boot.
Savoury winter specials on our visit included a Moroccan spiced sweet potato & spinach roll or butternut squash soup, alongside freshly made cobs. Additionally on the menu was a crispy bacon or halloumi & avocado on sourdough roll, selection of toasties and sandwiches or that cyclist staple; toast or teacake.
Looking for something sweet? Cakes on display were a Victoria sponge, mini-egg brownie, pain au raisin or raspberry turnover Danish pastry. Coffee & cake is available for £6.50, alongside a cream tea priced similarly.
With a large seating area upstairs, alongside seating both downstairs and outside overlooking the grounds, it’s ideal for groups of all sizes.
