A great coffee! Sourced from Union roasters, I highly recommend the cappuccino (with real chocolate pieces)

All the cakes are homemade and the hot food is freshly prepared - they even make their own sourdough

There's almost too much choice, you can't go wrong whatever you choose!

Coffee (£3.00), tea (£2.60), cake (~£4.00), sandwiches (£7.50), quiche with salad (£10.00)

The rear garden can accommodate a limited number of bikes, however for larger groups you will need to store these elsewhere (unless wet and the rear garden not in use)

Bookings welcome for large groups, rating only let down by limited bike storage options

Stow is a great stop off when riding in the North Cotswolds, a short distance from Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh and nearby to some great routes!

If i could only pick one favourite here in the UK (let alone on the bike), The Hive would be it! A warm welcome always awaits from the friendly team, where inside the decors combines Cotswolds chic with a modern twist.

The cake and menu changes on a daily basis and there’s always something new and unusual to try – rasberry and coconut, lemon and passionfruit and biscottee to name a few.

The coffee is from Union coffee roasters and always very tasty – I can highly recommend the Cappucinno – very chocolatey.

In terms of hot food there’s a wide range of choice. I can highly recommend the homemade quiche which is served with a choice of salads, including the Hive slaw which is simply devine! The sandwiches are served in their own sourdough – the roast ham and sticky pickle a great choice.
