There's limited seating inside, both upstairs and down, larger groups may want to takeaway and enjoy there cake beside Bridgnorth castle

Once refuelled, before leaving Bridgnorth be sure to checkout the steepest inland funicular railway in Britain. Perhaps then continue the railway theme cycling south to the village of Arley and onto the Georgian riverside town of Bewdley

A superb value and welcoming cafe located in the hilly Shropshire market town of Bridgnorth, famous for it’s funicular railway and home to the popular Severn Valley steam railway.

Inside there’s an extensive range of breakfast and lunch bites or meals including jacket potatoes, paninis, sandwiches, full breakfasts, breakfast baps, soup (soup & sandwich, £6.50), toast/teacakes and larger big plate meals, all extremely great value.

For those looking for coffee & cake, try their meal deal priced at £4.50. Homemade cakes include lemon drizzle, chocolate, coffee & walnut, banana, ginger, Victoria sponge and tiffin to name a few, alongside American pancakes with bacon & maple syrup too.

Due to the size of the cafe there’s limited seating inside both upstairs and down. Larger groups may wish to takeaway and enjoy scenic Bridgnorth instead.
