location

Located just south of Henley-in-Arden and 6 miles north of the touristy riverside town of Stratford-upon-Avon, we’re spoilt for choice with where to head by bike. We’d recommend heading south through Little Alne and onto Temple Grafton, Binton and Welford-on-Avon towards the north Cotswolds. Alternatively here you could head east from Binton and through Luddington to Stratford-upon-Avon

A family-run cafe located within the Yew Tree Farm Shopping Village in Wootton Wawen, just south of Henley-in-Arden and 6 miles north of Shakespeares’ Stratford-upon-Avon. Serving up freshly home-cooked meals, snacks and delicious cakes, it’s the ideal pitstop when exploring mid-west Warwickshire on two wheels.

Breakfast and lunch is served until 15:00, with drinks & cakes all-day. Their breakfast baps are the perfect morning pick-me-up including a delicious Lashford sausage bap, bacon, halloumi & chilli jam with red pepper, and veggie and vegan options. Hash browns and fried egg can be added and you’ll find their large ‘Cowshed full English’ too! Fans of the toasted tea cake will not be disappointed – try the fabulous cranberry version, alongside a fruit option, farmhouse toast or all butter croissant.

For those arriving at lunchtime (or not after breakfast) there’s a large selection of sandwiches, toasties, ciabattas or soft rolls with flavours ranging from a fish finger sandwich to homemade Coronation chicken, smoked salmon & cream cheese, cheddar & caramelised onion or Wiltshire cured ham & mustard mayo, alongside soup of the day and a jacket potato special.

Cakes are a mixed of homemade and sourced from local bakers, with delights including a very moist lemon, almond & polenta slice, red velvet (our favourite), millionaire shortbread, Bakewell tart and vegan friendly cookies & cream cake.

Inside you’ll find plenty of space (advanced bookings are advised for larger groups) complete with log burner for those winter rides, alongside a good number of seats outdoors too in the sheltered courtyard with plenty of space around to rack your bikes.
