An independent cafe serving up delicious home baked cakes and patisseries, fabulously fresh soughdough ciabatta sandwiches and wood-fired pizzas set beside the banks of the River Wharfe. Set in the picturesque Yorkshire village of Burnsall, there’s breathtaking scenery all-around along with some epic cycle routes through the Yorkshire Dales.
It’s a favourite amongst local cyclists and on Friday evenings you’ll find them serving up their famous wood-fired pizzas between 17:00 – 20:00 – book online if you wish beforehand.
You’ll find the cyclists staple bacon sandwich here in addition to a tasty range of meat, veggie and vegan soughdough sandwiches. Personally I’m not a vegan but their ‘posh’ vegan sandwich was delicious! As for sweet treats, the pistachio courgette cake with passion fruit curd along with the Guinness gingerbread topped off the perfect lunch!
