Due to a recent expansion of their premises, Mr Thom’s now combines a superb bakery, cake, sandwich and sweet shop into one, complete with an outdoor terraced seating area.
For cyclists with a sweet tooth this is a mini slice of heaven in North Worcestershire, boasting a huge range of tray-bakes and cakes including orange tiffin, maple and pecan flapjack (gf), white choc and cranberry and tiramisu slice to name a few.
There’s also a fantastic range of savoury snacks including their own luxury vegan sausage rolls which were delicious (i’m not veggie or vegan and thoroughly enjoyed them), spinach and ricotta roll and sausage rolls. This in addition to hot and cold sandwiches, rolls – including their excellent breakfast rolls, baguettes, paninis, toasted sandwiches, soup and salad boxes. There’s also a fab range of pasties, pork pies and quiches supplied by Russell’s Pies in nearby Telford. See our picures to get an idea of their vast selection!
Mr Thom’s is extremely great value and the service is always quick and efficient, if eating in the garden terrace do note that prices are slightly higher than those quoted here.
As a chocolatier Mr Thom’s also produce their own handmade Belgian chocolates at the factory on-site, featuring their famous hot chocolate bombs and chocolate bars including fudge crumble, Biscoff crunch and coconut.
