If looking for refreshingly different savoury brunch & lunch choices, you're spoilt for choice. We'd recommend the Tsoureki brioche toast and Turkish eggs! The cakes are equally as tempting, supplied by Brutally Honest Bakery in Birmingham; the gingerbread latte is our top choice!

Bikes can be stored out back in their sheltered rear garden (access to the left of the cafe) or alternatively there's plenty of space around the seating out front too

With plenty of space both in their rear enclosed garden or out front in their alfresco seating area, groups of all sizes should have no trouble finding a spot. Inside is a good number of tables with quick turnaround although do note at weekends it does get rather busy

Bournville is a hip, scenic suburb of Birmingham and just a short cycle away from the quiet roads around Barnt Green and Alvechurch or over towards the hilly ascent of the Clent Hills, leading onto Bellbroughton, Feckenham, Droitwich Soa and beyond

Popular, Mediterranean inspired cafe & coffee house in the hip, bustling suburb of Bournville, Birmingham serving up locally roasted coffee and all-day brunch and lunch delights.

Their Mediterranean inspired dishes (do check-out the menu) make a welcome change from your usual cafe staples on on our visit included a Tsoureki brioche toast (brioche, rose-water chantilly, mascarpone yogurt, cinnamon & pistachio), Greek egs with feta & romesco, their big ‘Kafenion grill’ (which includes pork & leek sausages or halloumi), shakshuka or Souvlaki wrap. There’s all your favourites too; a range of ‘on sourdough’ options, breakfast buns, granola bowls, salads and puff pastry pies.

For those with a sweet tooth the cakes are sourced locally from Brutally Honest Bakery (Big Fat Slab) in Birmingham; gingerbread latte, tangy lemon, raspberry & almond, chocolate brownie and Victoria sponge to name a few.

With space out front and their sheltered rear garden where bikes can be stowed, it’s ideal for groups of all sizes. Inside is a good number of tables too although it does get busy at the weekend.
