A brand new cafe to 2023, situated in the heart of the bustling cathedral city of Worcester next to Foregate Street train station and serving up delicious all day brunch and lunch bites alongside artisan coffee from superb Worcester based roasters, Method Coffee.
At the counter you’ll find a delicious selection of fresh sandwiches, rolls, sourdough toasties, salads, topped pastries, frittatas and quiches; there’s also affordable bacon and sausage baps too. On the menu you’ll find their famous ‘Foregate fry ups’ which include bacon, Gloucester Old Spot sausage, fried egg, pastrami hash, cheese crumbed mushroom, black & white pudding with sourdough.
Additionally there’s freshly mate buttermilk pancakes and a selection hot plates; shakshuka baked eggs or pesto eggs, crispy fried cauliflower, chicken schnitzel and did we mention their house pastrami?… Confit garlic butter, cripsy onions, beef au jus, Swiss cheese, whole grain mustard, sauerkraut on a sourdough roll!
For those with a sweet tooth there’s a large selection of both tray-bakes and cakes, during our last visit they included billionaire shortbread, salted caramel brownies, blueberry bakewell, rhubarb & ginger cake, apple & blackcurrant crumblejack, toffee Biscoff cake and lemon slice.
Inside there’s a large number of tables making it ideal for cycling groups of all sizes, additionally there’s plenty of bike racking adjacent outside and belonging to the railway station. Out front on Foregate Street is a number of alfresco tables too.
Coffee fans won’t be disappointed, it’s roasted by one of our favourites, Method Coffee Roasters who incidently are just a minutes walk from here located under the railway viaduct and with their own cafe. The tea is from Eteaket Tea of Scotland.
