Situated in the charming, chocolate box Cotswold village of Ilmington is a superb volunteer-run cafe and community shop serving up fantastic homemade cakes, a small selection of savoury snacks & soups and freshly ground coffee.
Inside you’ll find a warm and airy space with plenty of tables for small to medium sized groups located alongside their busy village shop. Additionally outside on their sunny terrace is plenty more seating with ample room to store your bikes.
On our last autumnal visit the fabulous homemade cakes included a rather tempting Bakewell slice, orange & almond slice, coffee & walnut, fruit flapjack or fruit cake. Additionally there’s also teacakes, homemade sweet & savoury scones and a soup of the moment; pea & ham.
